Committee Volunteer

The St. Louis Chapter of the Business Marketing Association is taking applications from dedicated marketing professionals within a business-to-business industry to complete our BMA Committees. These committee members will help the BMA Board to plan, coordinate and market events, meetings and workshops, as well as increase awareness and membership in the Chapter.
 

The following are Committees within the BMA Chapter.

Public Relations

This committee will help promote the Chapter and it's events through public relation efforts including press releases, pitching news stories, contacting the media and posting events on online calendars.  We also need someone to head this committee and take a leadership role.

Programs

Members in this committee will assist in selecting qualified business to business marketing speakers (local and national) to share their expertise at our monthly meetings and events. Activities include coordinating event details such as venue selection, meal planning, staging, speaker and topic information.

Marketing

The marketing committee assists with developing the Chapter association marketing strategy and messaging and assists with marketing tactics such as social media, newsletters and email marketing. Members also assist the Programming committee in selecting speakers and planning events.

Writer

The BMA St. Louis Chapter is looking for a good writer to help develop original content for our Website BLOG, email and news postings.

Graphic Design

This committee helps with the visual aspects of the association and helps to create graphic designs for badges, banner ads, posters, brochures, fliers, emails, social media and other marketing tools.

Membership

This committee will help in cultivating our existing members and to develop and implement strategies to increase awareness and membership. Since membership is partially driven by events, committee members will assist in the selection of speakers and details of event planning and production.

Sponsors

To help maintain and grow the Chapter the sponsorship committee will approach businesses to sponsor events, Web pages and emails. This committee needs a leader, someone who can take charge and direct the committee to increase sponsorships. You will be contacting the areas top companies to participate in sponsorship opportunities. If you're in sales this is a great opportunity to be introduced to top level marketers.
